Three Sixty Entertainment Wins UK 2009 Start-up of the Year
At the beginning of 2009 Colin Wilkinson helped to co-found a major new international entertainment company, Three Sixty Entertainment.
Their efforts have been rewarded through its first (smash-hit) show, Peter Pan (now at the O2, and on track to turn over in the region of £10m in its first year of trading), and has just been named as the UK's Best Start-up in 2009More
“Three Sixty was a clear
choice for this year’s Startups Business of the Year title. The company’s
originality, flair, and remarkable rate of growth simply blew the judges away.
This inspiring business, and the people behind it, highlights the exceptional
talent, ambition and determination that sits at the very heart of the UK’s
… Colin joined the project several years in, but it’s
undoubtedly his financing expertise and commercial insight that has turned the
production into a phenomenally successful, scalable business.”
says Sara Rizk, Deputy Editor, Startups.co.uk

Recent Appearance by Colin Wilkinson as a panelist
Wilkinson recently appeared as a panelist on series 6 of The Apprentice
- You're Fired. "It was a great experience. A bit of glam to brighten
up a rainy Monday in November. And being flanked by two comic gods:
Dara O'Briain and Andy Parsons was a huge thrill - not to mention the
gorgeous and gracious Carol Vorderman!"
